We manage three very different kinds of residence in Sosúa, and the right one depends less on budget than on how you like to spend a day. Do you want to walk out of the door to a café and the beach, or close a gate behind you and have a pool to yourselves? This guide compares the three so you can decide in a few minutes.
Who stays where
In our experience, couples on a short trip and solo travellers choose the apartments in town. Families and groups of friends choose a villa. Guests coming for a month or a season split between the two — and those who want the sea in front of them go oceanfront. None of this is a rule; plenty of couples take a villa for the privacy.
A villa at Casa Linda
Casa Linda is a gated resort community on the El Choco road, about five to ten minutes from Sosúa beach. Each villa is a stand-alone house with its own pool, a full kitchen, a covered terrace and two to five bedrooms. Inside the resort there is a waterpark, restaurants, mini-golf and tennis courts, and a free shuttle bus runs to Sosúa beach and town. Our office is inside the resort, so someone from our team is a few minutes away.
Choose a villa if you are travelling with children or as a group, if you want to cook and eat outside, or if privacy matters more than being able to walk to a restaurant. You will want a car or the shuttle for trips into town.
An apartment at Rizz Suites
Rizz Suites is a modern building in the centre of Sosúa with studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. It has a pool with a pool bar, a 24-hour gym, a spa, a coffee bar and a cigar lounge, an elevator and 24-hour security. The beach is 500 metres away and the restaurants of El Batey start at the corner.
Choose an apartment if you like to walk everywhere, if you are staying for a week or a month and want a gym and a kitchen, or if you would rather not rent a car. Studios suit one or two people; the two-bedroom apartments work well for two couples or a small family.
Oceanfront at Infiniti Blu
Infiniti Blu sits directly on the water in Sosúa, with one- to four-bedroom apartments, resort pools, tropical gardens and direct beach access. It is quieter than the town centre but still within walking distance of it. Choose Infiniti Blu if waking up to the sea is the point of the trip, or for longer stays where a calm setting matters.
